Splendid! I came home to a wonderful Christmas gift; My parents taking an unexpected trip to Romania or some random other country. And here I thought I would have to sneak out every day. It's so nice being able to leave and come home whenever I please.

I'm still wondering why they left so randomly. My mother always wants us home for Christmas to spend as a family. Even if she doesn't know the meaning of one. It has me curious, but at the same time, I'd rather not ask. I really really don't want to know what they're up to. Nor do I really care.

Is anyone else ready for the holiday?

In the past few weeks I've been slipped a love potion and sang to a blasted snake. Then there was the seeing red incident and talking with a totally different accent. Well, it wasn't too different. Now a dance. It feels like the silly Halloween dance was only a few weeks ago, now it's a Winter one?
Another dance I'll avoid. No one needs to watch me fall on my face in my horrible attempts of dancing.

Holy Quidditch! That was one intense game. ~~And also the reason I will never ever play. Bloody hell I have never seen such damage done before.~~ I hope each of you start feeling better soon. ~~Remind me never to piss off any snakes....oh..wait, been there done that.~~ Well, it was a good way to start off the season. Good job to both teams!

The Ball, I don't even want to talk about that one. ~~Sitting alone reading a book in the dorm really shows how much I get out. Bloody hell~~...

Bloody bunnies. I was able to keep mine in class until it decided to bite my finger and hop off with another bunny. I'm afraid to know what they did while missing. I just hope there isn't a collection of baby bunnies running around soon. Now that would be horrible. Though he did look very happy once I found him. I don't even want to think about what he did. I really don't want to deal with bunnies in class again.

Hogsmeade soon! I can't wait! Time to restock up on chocolate and other sugary treats.

I think I'm going to change my name. Or, shorten it. Kendra doesn't fit me. How about Kennie? Even if it's completely boyish. Or maybe just Ken? I don't know. I could always dip into my middle name and confuse the hell out of all the teachers.

How wonderful it is to be back! I say this every time, but it feels so wonderful to be back here. My parents were more concerned with saying bye to little Kevie to notice I was there. Which is always a good sign, means they're still furious at me for something. It would be better if I could remember what I did. Oh well.

I hope every ones summer was fantastic! Not too dull or anything.

This summer I was able to actually visit a muggle bookstore ~~without my parents knowing~~ and found a whole bunch of books. This year will be quite good to say the least! Full of prefect duties, my choice of classes, and good reading. Oh! And Charms. I quite missed charms to tell the truth. I found a spell that makes a tea cup whistle The Magic Flute by Mozart and have been waiting to put it to the test. How it will be useful for my life, I'll never really know! But it sure is fun.
